Regions Beyond Baptist Ministry had its beginning in May of 1996.  The title of the ministry comes from II Corinthians 10:16 where the scripture says:  “To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you…”.  Our sending church is the Gospel Baptist Tabernacle in Crossville, TN with Pastor David Carroll.

 The Reason

The reason Regions Beyond Baptist Ministry (RBBM) is in existence today is because we believe that God has called us to start independent, fundamental King James Bible believing Baptist churches and to help others do the same.

There are four ways in which we stand willing to help the church planter.  They are as follows:

 I.  Printing the gospel.  RBBM Press is located in Crossville, TN.  We print a variety of doctrinal and separational tracts that we believe to be Biblically sound and a firm foundation for any new church to build upon.  We also custom print tracts specifically for church planters.  Most of our tracts are 80% Bible and “free as the LORD provides”.

We currently have two warehouses, one in Tennessee and one in New York City, where we store our tracts in bulk.  Our desire is to have many warehouses all over the continent.  This enables the churches of a certain region to obtain the tracts more easily.

II.  Passing out the gospel.  Many times as a church is being planted or before a revival we will go in and help pass out tracts and witness.  Sometimes we will bring other preachers and their churches with us to help in this endeavor.  This allows the people of the community to receive information concerning the new church and most importantly puts the gospel in their hands in a more rapid fashion than if it was just the pastor and his family.

III.  Preaching the gospel.  We have not been sent “…to baptize, but to preach the gospel…” (1 Corinthians 1:17).  The reason for this is that it pleases “…God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” (1 Corinthians 1:21)

The main theme of RBBM is “to preach the gospel” and help others “to preach the gospel”.  We preach the gospel in many ways such as:  revivals, missions conferences, street preaching, and other special meetings that God may lay on the preacher’s heart.  Thanks to the support of many churches, RBBM’s helping of the church planter can take place.

We also conduct what we call “The Gospel Meeting”.  The Gospel Meeting takes place when God lays a town on our hearts that has no gospel witness.  We usually canvas the town with salvation tracts and a questionnaire asking the people if they know for sure that they are saved, and would they be interested in being part of an independent Baptist church if it were started in their town.  Normally, several months later, we will come back and work with those who responded and hold a two-week meeting where the gospel is preached and Christ is exalted.  We try to bring several preachers along with us praying that souls will be saved and that God will call a preacher to start a church in that town.

We believe that the gospel includes:

·        A realization of the fact that all men are sinners (Romans 3:23) and that if we die in our sins we will spend eternity in the flames of hell (Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:14).  This is brought about by conviction; something all men experience (John 6:44, 46).  We must also realize the fact that there is a Saviour, Jesus Christ, who shed His blood (Hebrews 9:22, 1 John 1:7) when he “…died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 2:31).

·        A repentance (Acts 17:30, Luke 13:3) and faith (Acts 16:31) toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

·        A responding to the command of God to seek “…the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near…” (Isaiah 55:6, Romans 10:13, 2 Corinthians 6:2).

Again, the main theme of RBBM is “To Preach The Gospel” and to help others “…preach the gospel”.

IV.  Praying for God’s blessing upon the gospel.  “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint…” (Luke 18:1, 1 Timothy 2:8).  “…Lord, teach us to pray…” (Luke 11:1).  “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:38).  “…What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)  “Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

The Region

The region that God has given Regions Beyond Baptist Ministry to work in is the continent of North America.

The Rewarder

The Rewarder is the LORD Jesus Christ.  He is the one who saved us, sanctified us and has sent us into this ministry to proclaim his gospel.  We are in this ministry because “…the love of Christ constraineth us…” (2 Corinthians 5:14) and it is He who someday will reward us. (Hebrews 11:26)

The Request

Our request is that you would please pray about scheduling a representative of Regions Beyond Baptist Ministry to present this work to you and your church.  WE request that you would please pray about supporting this needed ministry.  “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:  And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men:  for all men have no faith.” (2 Thessalonians 3:1-2)
