Our Church’s Testimony

In April of 2005 the Lord began calling me to start Charity Baptist Church.  I honestly did not believe I was good enough, but the Lord - through much prayer and fasting - showed me it was His will.  On Sunday, May 29th 2005 Charity Baptist Church held its first worship service with three families.  Our primary goal is to serve God with all our hearts His Way, according to His Word, with love.  We do not serve Him because it is our job or duty, but simply because we love Him.

The Lord has immensely blessed Charity Baptist Church.  Here's some examples of how His hand has been upon us:  He multiplied our membership from three families to 11; we have had numerous single Soldiers attend as faithful as their military duties allow them until they deploy; over 200 visitors have worshipped with us; He provided four acres of land to build on in an area that will reach a multitude of people as the city of Killeen expands and builds around us, and it's minutes from Fort Hood as well; our first mission's conference resulted in over $1,500 a month promised, by faith, for missions; and the best blessing of all - we've seen several come to the Lord for Salvation through preaching and soul-winning!  We enthusiastically praise God for all He's done and look forward to the future of Charity Baptist Church!
